18 years old boy came with c/o h/o partial nail avulsion following an injury . no h/o pain .

It is a case of post traumatic separation of nail bed and nail matrix could be seen. X-ray great toe to exclude bonny injury It can be treated conservatively without removal of nail by maintaing aseptic condition of the during regular dressing and nail will be pulled of in due course of time . OR Nail removal under LA In both the cases Antibiotic broad spectrum Analgesic Regular dressing with mupurocin

Nail is unlikely to survive . Dressings, Inj TT, antibiotics, If after a few days, nail can be lifted from nail bed, it can be removed .
