Dear Dr Rajesh Sir. Welcome back. Previously paediatrician used to give high dose of vit d 600000 iu im. However that practice has been abolished followed by stoss therapy. Plus exposure to sunlight even for 5 mins is usually enough. Plus vit d rich food. One thing I advise to parents in opd is application of ghee n butter in Roti daal etc. Since it's a fat soluble vitamin.
Thank you doctor

IM injection of 600000IU is no longer use,due to higher vitamin D toxicity. Now use 60000IU suspension once a week for 10weeks(better absorption) Exposure to sunlight Vitamin D and calcium rich food in diet.
