1. ho foreign body entry left eye while traveling 2. Pt presenting with inflamed eye, foreign body sensation 3. No foreign body detected on exam Dx and tx?

Foreign body induced conjunctivitis, as no f body is detected, most of the time f body is stucked pretarsal conjunctiva which can not be seen have to evert upper eye lid to look for f body also examine at upper and lower fernixes Also examine cornea for any abrasion of cornea after staining with flourecin If there is any abrasion and is confirmed no f body patch the eye for 12 hours after putting ciplox eye ointment

Yes flurosine stain will identify the f b Or subject to keratoscopy as imbedded f b in iris may not easily seen Many times f b is already wornout but sensation or corneal abrasion gives trouble Atropine eye oint at bed time daily Moxifloxacin eye oint or drops twice daily Get opthamologist opinion

WHEEVER THERE IS HO F BODY F BOY CAN LODGE IN CORNEA OR CONJUCTIVA SO TT IS REMOVAL OF F BODY PREFEBRAKY BY AN OPHTGALMOLIGIST IN CASE THEIR IS NO F B SEEN IN CORNEA OF CONJUCTIVA PLEASE EVERT THE U LID AND WE MAY SOMETIMES SEE F BODY SUBTARSALIS HIDEN IN SUCUS

Stain eye with flurosine to see F B If yes remove If no Atropine eye oint + Neosporine oint pad & bandage Antibiotics orally Nsaid orally
