10 month old female with diagnosis of failure to thrive. Born at 37 weeks gestation- no complications. Birth weight 6lbs 12oz. She weighs about 15lbs now. Less than 1st percentile on growth chart. Meeting all milestones. Feeding well. Echo normal. CBC, CMP and TSH WNL. No other symptoms other than poor weight gain. Maternal uncle with osteogenesis imperfecta. Two out of three of maternal uncle’s children with OI. Mother of child have never been tested but has never had fracture. Any possibility this child could have OI?

Rule out UTI. Detailed dietary history. Regular monitoring of weight gain.

Radiological diagnosis may help. I don't think the child is suffering from OI.

Full photograph of the child. Then x-ray lower limb
