Herpes Zoster. Shingles, or zoster, is a common infection that occurs due to a herpes virus. Shingles is a rash that usually appears on one side of the chest and back. It can also develop on one side of the face and around the eye. The condition can be very painful and can sometimes have long-term side effects. Herpes zoster is caused by the reactivation of the chickenpox virus. After a person has had chickenpox, the virus lies dormant in certain nerves for many years.

Herpes zoster Antiviral orally and locally. Analgesic antiflamatory orally. Multivitamin and antioxidants orally. Keep area clean and covered with sterile gauge. Improve general health and personal hygiene. Keep area protected from exposure to extreme conditions.
