10yr female came with history of multiple pustular lesion over sclap since 2month on and off... patchy hair loss asociated with itching over site of lesion... postauricular b/l lymphnode.she had h/o pedicilosis capitis previously diagnosis and treatment

Seborrheic dermatitis with sec. infection. Alopecia areata. Antibiotics Antihistamine Ketoconazol shampoo locally.

Infected seborrhoeic dermatitis Rx. 1. Amoxyclav 30mg / kg / day in twodivided doses for 10days. 2. Levocetrizine 5mg twice a day for itching if present 3. Kz shampoo hair wash daily for 1mth. 4. Mild steroid such as mometasone cream appl twice daily. 5. Avoid oils and soap applications to the scalp

Kz shampoo once daily for 1mth for hair wash. 5. Mild steroid such as mometasone cream appl twice daily for 10days. 6. Avoid oils and soap applications to the scalp.
