11 yr child weight 8 kg swelling on left side chik redness itching used supramycin cream hicope drop but not relieve please suggest rx & dx

Fifth disease is also called erythema infectiosum. And it's known as "slapped cheek" disease. This is because the rash can cause a child's cheeks to become very red. Fifth disease is spread from one child to another through direct contact with fluid from the nose and throat. Management.. For minor rashes where the skin isn't broken, place a wet cloth on your child's rash to reduce pain and itching. You can also use over-the-counter anti-itch creams like hydrocortisone and topical Benadryl. And if your child is older than 2 you can try a weight-appropriate dose of Benadryl or Claritin/Zytrec.

Likely allergic reaction Treatment- apply topical antihistaminics...

? ALLERGIC .. ? ERYTHEMA INFECTIOSUM .. NEED'S.. OINTMENT HYDROCORTISONE.. LEVOCETIRIZINE..

Perhaps mistakenly u have mentioned age of child 11 yrs instead of 11 months as child is not looking 11 yrs old .
