14/Male, abdominal pain USG- GB sludge, splenomegaly,dilated bowel loops, line of management?

Symptoms stated suggest obstruction at ampulla of vater hence splenomegaly and g b sludge so also dialated loops Adv ct abdomen to consider extrabilliary compression like lymphadenopathy or malignancy Than decide management

GB sludge usually a transient phenomena occcurs due to Prolonged Fasting, Obstruction and Hemolysis . In this case there is also Splenomegaly . So reason could be Haemolysis . Dilated loop of bowel could be due to near by inflammation.

Gall bladder sludge and spleenomegaly is common in hemolytic anemia Adv Complete blood count and liver function test
