Acne vulgaris with eruption

15 yrs old girls is having acne eruption on face (both cheek )and back region since 3 months. She consulted but not resolving..Plz diagnose and suggest the treatment.

Acne vulgaris. Rx : isotretinoin solft gel , topical antibiotics , acne skin care products. Warn patient not to get pregnant for a year.

Patient education about the nature of the problem, that it is hormonal and normal at this age is important. She need to be educated that, this is not a disease which can be cured. It can only be suppressed, to avoid permanent scarring. Life style modifications like frequent face wash, avoidance of junk food, and to avoid OTC cosmetics. Azithromycin 500mg OD for one month Clindamycin oint Isotretenoin 10 mg OD for one month
