Take a detail history regarding the degree of fever ( duration , diurnal variation , interfebrile period ) .... What was the indication to start cefpodoxime ? ... Investigation suggestive of microcytic hypochromic anaemia ( could be Iroon deficiency anaemia) as it is quite prevalent in this age group .... Rashes seems to be papular ( could be allergic ones) ,rule out the pattern of rashes Treat- symptomatically , antihistaminics....

Iron deficiency anemia. Careful evaluation of pattern of rashes. Antihistaminics may be helpful.
