Ewings? Osteosarcoma?

16 yr male. Left knee swelling at near popliteal fossa. Raised temperature as compared to local area. MRI show multiseptated lesion with comminute depressed fracture. Fna done.

Singly discrete and dyshedive groups of oval and polhedral atypical cells.. some pleomorphic and binuclear... have central to eccentric nucleus... intermixed with pinkish amorphous debris.. at places flaky..? osteoid. Inflammatory cells and macrophages.. vascular trabeculae.. hemorrhage.. very few spindle cells. Dd. Soft tissue osteosarcoma Synovial sarcoma Sug. Bx. Ihc

I had fortune to attend a session by prof. Unni.. of Mayo clinic.. USA. His dictum was.. NEVER REPORT A ORTHOPEDIC TISSUE SECTION OR CYTOLOGY.. WITHOUT SEEING X RAY PLATES YOURSELF.
