18 Y/m :-C/0 Heard very little from both ears, with On and off pus comes From Both Ears Since 8 years. Respected Doctors Sir/Ma'am Give Valuable Opinion. patient Belongs a Poor Family His Parients Expired before 10 years.

This is a case of chronic suppurative otitis media. Treatment is Treat the underlying cause Personal counselling regard hygiene. Ask him to do regular aural toilet. Ask him not to pour water in ears. Ask him not to meddle ear with pins . Ask him to consult a doctor when he gets cold and cough immediately. Frequent nasal or ear infections will cause discharge of pus from ear resulting in otitis media either acute or Chronic. Early intervention of URI can prevent CSOM. Coming to the actual treatment part, Medical and surgical. Medical treatment is Oral Antibiotics Oral Anti histamines. Topical antibiotic eardrops should be used after cleaning pus in the ear with cotton ear buds . Aural toilet regularly. Surgical treatment is Tympanoplasty Myringoplasty Mastoidectomy. Hearing loss should be managed with hearing aids .

Hard of hearing for last 8yrs His age is 18yrs that means he was normal up to age of 10yrs It is aquired deafness hence we need to know the aquired causes like CSOM PERFORATED EAR DRUM DRUG TOXICITY LIKE ANTITUBERCULAR ETC Line of treatment will depend on cause As a help he should be given hearin-aids

Azithro 500mg od. Diclo PCM SOS. Multivitamin orally. Ciplox eye drops locally. Keep ears clean and plugged with cotton. Complete and through examination of ears will conclude and treatment. We have running an NGO if anything pt required we are ready to help.

Bilateral conductive hearing loss with type B graph in tympanogram can be due to fluid in middle ear or a serious otitis media or a perforation. History of pus draining from ear is suggestive of a CSOM or a chronic suppurative otitis media

Chronic suppurative otitis media Requires long term antibiotic Need to rule out cholesteatoma
