18 years male complaining lesion on tongue since 3 months.no pain and no tenderness. What is the diagnosis? Treatment?

Mucous retention cyst

Dx- mucous cyst Tx-surgicl excise A mucous cyst occurs when the mouth's salivary glands become plugged. Mucous cysts are rarely a serious condition, Trauma to the mouth (such as lip or cheek biting) is the most common cause of a mucous cyst.

Mucous inclusion cyst

Mucous inclusion cyst.

Check for consistency...If firm most likely fibroma...If not and mucinous fluid then mucous retention cyst..Go for excision

mucosal polyp. excision biopsy.

MUCOCELE MUCOUS RENTION CYST

Papillary overgrowth. Small inflammatory papillae seen surrounding it. May be due to trauma. Or gastric upset. Can be excused but try to subside by medication first sir.
