viral encephalitis?
19/m was brought to emergency in altered sensorium with h/o seizure.with frothing form mouth,urinary and fecal involvement.csf report normal.cemri has been done,kindly comment on diagnosis and treatment
Possibly acute viral encephalitis. Adv CSF study
Only T1,T2WI and axial FLAIR sequences. No DWI or contrast images. Okk. Multiple areas of long TR hyperintensities in juxtacortical areas of bilateral frontal , parietal and temporal lobes.. Posiibility_ Acute disseminated encephalomyelitis (ADEM). d/d multiple granulonas . without history of fever and DWI sequence . viral encephalitis can not be diagnosed
