When carrying a baby, circulatory system expands quickly, this may cause drop in blood pressure. It is common in first 24 weeks of pregnancy. Other factors that can contribute to low blood pressure include Anemia, prolonged bed rest, infections, nutritional deficiencies, certain medications, endocrine disorders and allergic reactions
- pregnancy nausea vomiting cause less intake of food and fluids as part of psychological fear of vomiting resulting hypoglycemia further lower BP. - physiological phenomenon to divert flow of blood toward pelvic organ - managed with plenty of fluids with sugar added

Dr Ramdas has mentioned the reason for fall in BP in Anc But rule out pregnancy induced Cardiomyopathy by echo as it's also one of the imp reason for marked fall in diastolic bp as chances of going in Cardiogenic shock during labour is seen in such pts.
