20Y girl c/o severe itching in both eyes since 7day's, Dx/Rx plz
Allergic conjunctivitis 1. Tab Vozet (levocetrizine 5 mg).... 1 BDPC for 2 days then 1 ODPC for 5 days 2. E/D Pred forte(Prednisolone 1%)......apply OD to BD depending upon severity
SEVERE ALLEGIC CONJUCTIVITS 1 OLOPAPATADNE EYE ROPS 2 FLOMETHALONE EYE DROPS 3 NS ANTI IFLAMMATORY EYE DROPS 4 ARTIFICIAL TEARS EYE DROPS 5 ANTI ALLEGIC EYE DROPS
Avoid any form of steroids in such cases. Tab levocetrizine+ monteleukast works great. Topically gattiflox and ketoprofen drops along with tear film drops works good.... Chloramphenicol aplicap only at night.
