23 yrs old male. complain of the swollen painful non tender knee for 2 years.... diagmosis and management
Non tender huge effusion of knee for two years need to be clinically evaluated Chronic non tender effusion of knee may be due to A. Osteoarthritic effusion B. Rheumatoid arthritis C. Old injury of knee like menisicus and other other ligaments injury D. Tuberculous arthritis E. Septic arthritis F. Malignancy G Haemophilic effusion H Charcot's joint due diabetic neuropathy sensory motor and autonomous. Though age does not support. Blood examination including ESR Blood for C Reacting protein and test for any any abnormal coagulopathy X-ray to see the bonny condition CT / MRI will give definitely confirmation of the diagnostic Aspiration of knee joint and go for culture sensitivity to see wheather septic or not Smear for AFB staining and Cytology

No significant family or PMH, not taking any medicstions, no trauma, no fevers or chills, no rashes. Exam benign besides large effusion. CBC unremarkable. Thoughts?

Clinical Findings A 20 years old woman presented to the emergency department with an 8 month history if swelling and pain in the right thigh . Investigational Findings . MRI of the right leg reveled a large periosteal femoral mass and thrombus in the right femoral vein , for which she recieved anticoagulant therapy .
