P. alba in child

A 4 yr old child presents with mild hypo-pigmentationary lesions below left eye and right eye for 10 days. No hypo-pigmentation on any other area of body, no itching, no family history of vitiligo.. Diagnosis and treatment?

Pityriasis Alba. Resolves by itself. But may take a long time. Emollients may be prescribed.

Definitely it's "PITYRIASIS ALBA". No treatment is required for pityriasis alba. The patches usually go away with time. prescribe a moisturizing cream or topical steroid cream such as hydrocortisone to treat the condition.
