29yrs male with 6/12 vision RE 6/6 LE on fundus examination macular edema with soft exudate no h/o diabetes or hypertension; ordered FFA and plan for lucentis or laser what else missing
As seen in above OCT RE shows neurosensory detachment and hyperreflective areas in the RPE layer...I think it's a case of CSR with presence of drusens ...soft exudates generally occur in the retinal nerve fibre layer...n drusens occuring at this age could be familial or incidental finding since pt doesnot have diabetes or hypertension... so it's a case of RE CSR ...ffa should be done and one can wait for spontaneous resolution and glasses can be prescribed for induced hypermetropia...if doesn't resolve after 4 to 6 months then laser can be done
ANY HISTORY OF BLUNT TRAUMA
Wat abt d soft exudate?is der any periphlebitis as u said he s yng n non diabetic.
