3.5yr girl child with these papular lessions since 3 months, severely itchy, gradually increased in number on dorsal aspect of upper limbs n lower limbs below knees, no allergic history, no history of chronic illness, no lessions in the mouth, no history of fever,eating well, active, none of the family members have this, kindly opine

Suggested management of Prurigo mitis: Most important is to prevent new mosquitoes bite. Full cloths, repellent ect. will help. Soothing cream like SILODERM and SYRUP ATARAX. Existing lesions will subside within 3 weeks. Body takes few years to forget allergy.

Diagnosis: Prurigo mitis due to mosquitoes bite. (Allergic reaction to saliva of mosquitoes. Before mosquitoes suck blood microdrop of saliva is injected in site of bite. Even mosquitoes transminated diseases enter our body by this injected microdrop of saliva. The child become allergic to the saliva. Hence at site of each bite allergic reaction occurs.)

?? Acropustulosis of infancy / Scabies

Sir, if it was scabies then the family members would have easily been infected with it, but none of them were infected Ur first D/D-The lessions were never vesicles or pustules over these 3 months period, they were only macules and papules with severe icthing, her age is 3.5yrs
