Hypothyrodism AYURVEDIC MEDICINES HAVE BEEN THE BEST ADJUVANTS IN ENDOCRINAL DISEASES AND CAN TOTALLY REPLACE ALLOPATHIC TREATMENT IF ADMINSTERED SYSTEMATICALLY. ELTROXIN SHOULD NOT BE STOPPED SUDDENLY AND TAPERING IS ALSO NOT EASY AS CORTISONES OR CINNARIZINE COMPOUNDS, OWING TO THE PATIENT'S CONSTITUTION, LIFESTYLE, CHRONICITY, FERTILITY (PARTICULARLY IN FEMALES) ETC., PLANTS LIKE APAMARGA, ASWAGANDHA, GUGGULU, BRAHMI, SHIGRU, KANCHANARA, SOYA, AKSHOTAKA ETC., ARE PROVEN IN STIMULATING THYROID HORMONE PRODUCTION AND REGULATING GLANDULAR FUNCTIONS TO NORMALCY. LOGICAL USE OF SUCH DRUGS WILL DIFINETELY YEILD ENCOURAGING RESULTS.
What about her Occupation? Married? Emotional Status? Nindra? In case of Thyroid Disfunctioning disturbance of Mansika Dosha plays an important role. If you know the patient well then you may evaluate the mental status or else you can ask her friends and family about the same.
