Dr. S. Dhara, Thanks for tagging. Multiple red scaly nodular lesions with raised borders on sun exposed area with seeming permanent scar on Left cheek and burning sensation more favour yo DISCOID LUPUS ERYTHEMATOSUS. Treatment: Sunscreen lotion is mandatory in this case SPF 50. Tab Hydroxychloroquin daily 3 weeks. Tab antihistamines for 2 weeks. Hydrocortisone cream application night time. Here observe the other autoimmune problems like SLE . And exclude VASCULITIS, MALR RASH and joint pains. Biopsy and antinuclear antibodies will reveal the correct picture.

@Dr. S. Dhara sir, Looks like tumid lupus (lupus erythematosus tumidus). ? Irritant contact dermatitis ? Granuloma faciale. Kindly advise for biopsy in order to establish a diagnosis. Treatment includes topical sunscreen, tab Hydroxychloroquine 6 to 7mg/kg body weight, after ophthalmology evaluation (fundus examination, visual acuity and color vision) and topical steroid at night.
