Ecthyma.. It is a skin infection characterised by crusted sores beneath which ulcers form. It is a deep form of impetigo, as the same bacteria causing the infection are involved. Ecthyma causes deeper erosions of the skin into the dermis.. This may be due to the mechanism as Dr.Jayesni described.. Broad-spectrum antibiotic orally . Antibiotic ointment and regular dressing. NSAID.

Covid 19 is associated with increased thrombogenic condition. Coronavirus enters through ACE 2 receptors. ACE 2 receptors are present on endothelium, therefore coronavirus enters into the endothelium and causes damage to vascular endothelium. This causes thrombosis. In this case there may be thrombosis of subcutaneous vessels causing black ischar, surrounding redness is because of cellulitis. Adv D dimer level Antibiotic to treat cellulitis T. Ecosprin 75 mg once daily T. Dabigatran 110 mg once a day (mild anticoagulation)
