how to treat this insomnia case?

35 yr old female with H/O DM2 & HTN, has complaints of Insomnia(4 months) and headache (5 days). For which she is currently on Tab Zolpidem 10mg & Tab Melatonin 3mg ( as prescribed by a psychiatrist). Earlier she had Covid -9 months back(now recovered completely) , but since January she was taking some dietary proteins & some caffeine product ( probably Herbalife), after which she develops loss of sleep, for which she was recommended Tab Zolpidem 10mg, but no significant relief , after that she visited a psychiatrist, & he recommend Tab Zaptra LS for 1 month ( very slight relief) later he switch it to Tab Mirtaz15, ( still no significant relief) Later she went to another psychiatrist & he recommend to stop anti depressants by tapering and to restart Tab Zolpidem along with Tab Melatonin.(stopped after 10 days by tapering down) Now she has developed headache (posterior) and a mid night awakening ( after 2-3 hrs sleep) Patient told that her mood use to be cheerful earlier but now she is depressed due to long illness & headache.. Headache gets mildly relieved by Tab Naproxen or PCM. What could be the cause & how to manage the case??

Although Ambien is classified as a sedative, this drug can give the user a rush of energy and euphoria when it is abused at high doses. However, misusing this drug can result in extreme drowsiness, confusion, and clumsiness, all of which increase the risk of falls, fractures, and other accidental injuries.. This drug give used for shortest span. BS and BP must to keep well controlled.
