Concluded answer
DQT is often has a margin of wrong diagnosis, and other wrist conditions with similar s/s and radio features need to be excluded before starting any treatment. Best management starts with an orthosis (thumb spika splint), simple pain killers and ice. This coupled with physio usually cures the early cases. Failing that orthopaedic evaluation is necessary to start further planning.

The case has been confirmed by Finkelstein's test. Pain aggravated with pinch grip, pulling activities, twisting activities, fine movement of left thumb. Through patient treated with conservative management but symptoms never gone. Before considering surgical procedures please advice medicine of choice for the above condition.
If it's a confirmed case and orthosis+physio is not helping then the patient needs to visit an orthopaedician for decision regarding local injection vs surgery.

First determine the stage of the disease Initial stage is tenosynovitis and the tendon sheath is not thickened There will be swelling and inflammation Splintage and antiinflamatory medication will give relief Later tendon sheath become thickened and tight. Surgery is the best option in this stage
