3mnths old baby seen with complaints of vomitting with normal neurological examination,no abnormal movements.MRI brain enclosed.KINDLY OPINE???

A case of obstructive hydrocephalus most likely due to aqueductal stenosis with raised intracranial pressure causing vomitings. A V.P - shunt is indicated

There is possibly tectal lipoma projecting into 4rth ventricle. Do fundoscopy. If papilledema present then do guarded LP. If csf studies are normal then to do VP shunt. If proteins are high then to do Ommayya reservoir placement and aspirate daily. Its nonobstructive hydrocephalus so need to find the cause

In hemorrhage. Usually. Mannitol should be avoided

VP shunt done by Neurosurgeon.

Intraventricular hyperdense Lesions.. Secondaries brain..vascular .? Thyroid primary

There is a 4th ventricular mass present so a posterior fossa craniotomy with removal of the mass needs to be done with insertion of EVD and follow up ct scan to rule out hydrocephalus,and decision regarding VP shunt should be taken

Head circumference?....Bulging fontanelle? Was head enlarging rapidly. Indication MRI imaging .
