40Yr /M presented with recurrent renal stones with great toe pain ( 2nd time in 5yrs) , no significant past history RBS - 98 Sr uric acid - 6 Treatment? Gave febuxostat OD for a month

Uric acid level of 6 mg/dl is considered as normal At this level uric acid crystal do not form, Therefore it is unlikely to cause gout No need to start treatment of hyperuricemia at this uric acid level
