46 Y/o Female H/o Hypothyroidism She had 158-100Bp past 2-3 Days had burning sensation in stomach She on Thyrocare 75 Medication Pls Suggest Management ?
Hypothyroidism Hypertension Burning sensation of stomach Suggest gastric irritation Or acute gastritis. Tab. / cap. Antispasmodic SOS Tab. / cap. PPI with Sucralfate liquid 10-15 ml BDAC . Needs blood and urine profile and also USG of upper abdomen, G I endoscopy for confirm diagnosis.

What is the TSH value at present. Go for Anti TPO. Esomeprazole 40 mg.+ Domperedone 30.mg 1 tab OD on empty stomach. For hypertension, your Physician will recommend you ... Till than start Amlodopine 5 mg.+ Nabivalol 5 mg 1 tab OD.in the morning after breakfast.
Usually both PPI & Levothyroxine are being advised to take in empty stomach. But when they are taken together PPI will work & not Levothyroxine. Hence one should take Levothyroxine early in the morning in empty stomach & then after about an hour PPI should be taken.
