Covid -19 POSITIVE ( HRCT :- GGO / consolidation )
47 years old male complaints of cough since 7 days mild fever sputum colour is yellowish history of bronchitis previous history of pseudomonas aeruginosa and klebsiella pneumonae in sputum culture treated with antibiotics piperacillin /. tazobactam etc this time sputum culture is negative not responded to azithromycin & cefpodoxime cbp is normal CRP is normal. Management ?
HRCT Shows peripheral ground glass opacity and lower lobe consolidation likely viral aetiology ? RT pcr :- covid 19 :- positive Vitals :- spo2 :- 92% at room air Temperature : 101-103f

X Ray chest appears normal HRCT chest for further investigation Check for diabetes - in view of recurrent infection Acid peptic reflux disease can also lead to recurrent cough

44 yr old lady ,not a k/c/o DM/HT/Dyslipidemia c/o dyspnoea on exertion for the past 3 yrs along with 10% weight gain. On examination bilateral pitting pedal edema present more so on the right leg (photo attached) vitals are stable and all the systemic examinations normal. Also attaching the photo of her dry,coarse skin,mostly due to hypothyroidism P.s:Can pedal edema be severe enough to cause medial deviation of the toes??(photo attached) If not what are the reasons for it??
