Iit is dermoid cyst with infection, these cyst contain epithelium and skin adenexal like hair follicle, sebaceous gland and sweat gland. Dermoid cyst are usually found Scalp, around orbit, and neck with predilection of midline and supra sternal notch. Incision and drainage and plan for excision later on as it is not possible to remove as a whole in infected condition.

Surgery advised in such cases the cyst should be removed

Infected Dermoid cyst Excision and dressings Antibiotic and NASID ask for CBC ESR Blood SUGAR

Cyst with secondary infection Tab. Moxikind CV Tab. Linjolid 600 Tab. Zerodol sp Cap. Multivitamin antioxidants Flutibact ointment

Considering midline position of a superficial neck swelling- most likely a case of infected dermoid cyst. A F.NAC will confirm the diagnosis and unlikely to be thyroid swelling as it rarely suppurates. Incision and drainage of abscess is indicated. Definitive excision of cyst at a later stage if cyst wall is not completely removed during incision and drainage

Surgical excision/ Debridement. In both cases required. I

IT'S A..CASE OF.. SWELLING NECK.. ? DERMOID CYST.. ? THYROID PATHOLOGY.. NEED'S SURGICAL INTERVENTION AND HPE STUDY..
