48vyears Male having these lesions since 2 years. itching on sweating no pain and tenderness not diabetic what is diagnosis? treatment?

Lichen Amyloidosis Persistent pruritic, hyperkeratotic papules commonly distributed on the shins . Mostly associated with Systemic Amyloidosis, Primary Biliary Cirrhosis,SLE,Sjogren Syndrome and Idiopathic. Advice LFT RFT URM CBC URM CXR. Rx Treat primary cause. Topical and intralesional steroids. Antihistamines. Emollients. PUVa Acitretin.

It's LICHEN AMYLOIDOSIS. Hyperkeratotic discrete hard papules with itching on both lower legs on anterior tibial area due prolong friction more favour to LICHEN AMYLOIDOSIS. Here hard papules are abnormal protein deposits. Treatment: Surgical removal of the papules. Followed by Microdermabrasion. Intralesional steroids are best option. Keratolytics and moisturizers are beneficial. Tacrolimus 0.1% gives good respond. Tab Acitretin sre best oral retinoids gives good relief to the patients.
