Bluish-green lesion back and gluteal area

4 weeks old boy is brought by his parents for C/O with a bluish-green lesion on his lower back and gluteal area. His parents indicate the discoloration was present at birth. The lesion is irregularly shaped with ill-defined borders and measures 5 cm in greatest diameter. No additional lesions are noted anywhere else on the baby’s body. The patient is otherwise healthy, and the lesion is not causing him pain or discomfort. What is your diagnosis?

Mongolian spots (MS) are congenital birthmarks seen most commonly over the lumbosacral area. They are bluish-green to black in color and oval to irregular in shape. No treatment required
General massage with Almond oil and using Ayurvedic bath Powder will dull the darkness in due course of time.
