Some of the main causes Include Worm infestations such as Ascariasis Exaggerated physiological lumbar lardosis NEPHROTIC SYNDROME Anaemia hypoproteinaemia Cirrhosis of liver Huge hepatosplenomegaly HIRSCHPRUNGS Disease Congenital hypothyroidism. Gaseous distension of abdomen @ Intestinal obstruction Paralytic ileus. Impacted faeces Wilm's tumour. Etc detailed investigations are needed to come to diagnosis at the same time detailed history and clinical findings are needed to come to diagnosis. Treatment depends upon diagnosis

ABDOMEN IS DISTENDED UMBILLICAL HERNIA + USG ABDOMEN TO EXCLUDE ASCITES

Give some clinical details. Is this how we approach abdominal distension ??? Is it fluid, air, organomegaly ???

Whilm's tomour.

Thank you sir
