abdominal malignancy??

50/f c/o abdominal distension and black stools,1.5 ltr ascitic tap was done, ascitic fluid analysis was transudative <1.1.her CECT abdomen is attached kindly comment on diagnosis and treatment.is there any abdominal malignancy

did you send the fluid for cytology? Malignancy will have an exudative fluid not transudative, SAAG will be <1.1 (I am not sure if that is what you meant)

Seems to be cld (cirrhosis) portan htn spleenomegaly Malena Most likely alchoalic liver

Dysmorphic liver with massive splenomegaly. Could be cirrhosis decompensation. Hepatic veins not seen clearly, still unlikely to be Budd chiari.
