The Mucocele, the oral ranula, and the cervical or plunging, ranula are clinical terms for a Pseudocyst that is associated with mucus extravasation into the surrounding soft tissue. Ranula are Mucocele that occur in the floor of mouth and usually involves the major salivary glands. Treatment of Ranula usually involves removal of sublingual gland. Surgery may not be required if the ranula is small and asymptomatic.

It may be case if ranula as the colour of the cyst clearly see bluish Excision or mersupialization of the cyst is the treatment.
