55 male k/c/o DM ,with BS( F-255,& PP-380),came with these skin lesions since 2 mnths,itches mildly without pain,..please daignose & line of management

this is a case of multiple folliculitis, first control blood sugar meticulously with insulin, combination of amoxy,clav 625 bd 7~ 10 days,enough,no NSAID's please

uncontrolled DM,folliculitis due to local insulin adminstratin with umbilical hernia. so control blood sugar with insulin ,check urine ketone and acidosis antibiotic cover(augmentin) plus hydrate patient

Control sugar with the opinion of physician, the lesions maybe due to fragile subcutaneous vessels.

follicilitis ...control diabetes nd antibiotics. .analgesics to be given

are they scaly? there is a violaceous hue to the lesions.. it could be Lichen planus or even simple Eczema.

skin biopsy...may b allergic vasculitis..if sugar s under control,start vth low dose steroid nd c d prognosis

TINEA INFECTION

It is fungal infection and apart from controlling sugar levels- At bedtime wash the lesion with soap and water and apply micogel ointment for a month and take cp candiforce 200 mg at night for two weeks

infective eczematous dermatitis, very common in DM. trace and treat d cause.
