Grossly it is indicative of UTI sos CYSTITIS Pt is post menopausal and aging 55yrs I will advise beside routine ix go for cystoscopy and sos biopsy to r/o any proliferation Local gynaecological examination is important to r/o vesicovaginal cysts or loosened anterior vaginal wall Also look for diabetes and neurological bladder

Treat cystitis with antibiotics Hydration. Urine culture. Evaluate for pyelonephritis. May require diagnostic cystoscopy if recurrence. Also see for diabetes.

55 years patient with frequent micturation with bladder wall thickening suggestive of recurrent bladder infection may be due to obstructive uropathy may be due to A. Enlarged prostate B bladder stone causing obstruction to flow of urine C. Bladder neck obstruction D down below bladder in the (a) stone in urethra (b) stricture urethra USG of KUB region with measurement of residual urine volume Retrograde urethrograogy or micturating cystourethrogram Urine culture and sensitivity for proper antibiotic Plenty of water, alkasol by mouth Rest specific treatment as per the cause after investigation

55/F..case of lower urinary tract dysfunction do urine r/m sos c/s above symptoms related with bladder dysfunction. Micturition cycle: bladder filling/storage and bladder voiding phase. dysfunction in either of above phase-above said symptom can be seen. what abt post void urine volume???? plz post usg report.

Classic case of Urethral syndrome. Urine rt, c/s, Uroflowmetry. If the diagnosis is correct, she will need Cystoscopy and Dilatation. Also check for SUI .Often coexisting.If present will need a TVT as well.
