One needs to check patient clinically and check radiological findings as well. Then only correct diagnosis can be ascertained. Once diagnosis is confirmed then line of treatment can be finalized. Patient may have developing cavity or hypersensitivity due to attrition or class V cavities. Cavities will require fillings and some attrition cases also can be filled. Role of desensitising paste is also there.

Considering the age, sensitivity could be bcoz of cervical abrasions or attrition. Needs clinical evaluation and radiographic examination to rule out any carious lesions.

Considering the age, sensitivity could be bcoz of cervical abrasions or attrition. Needs radiographs to rule out any carious lesions.

Symptomatic relief for immediate term For long term - check for habits (gutkha, rajnigandha etc) attrition needs to be evaluated. Go for restoration.

Any caries tooth is there / attrition / abrasion. We Need radiograph that helps for diagnosis
