Aesthetic concern of an Existing prosthesis by an Elderly patient .

An NRI Patient aged 57 years , with an existing denture made from UK came to our centre complaining about unaesthetic look . On evaluation his exiting dentures were acceptable in terms of function and material quality , though the teeth weren’t set at ideal anatomical position making the denture retroclined . The patient’s complaint was his teeth weren’t visible and his smile wasn’t acceptable with drooping of the lips . Started of with a new set of dentures evaluating patients needs at each and every step . Convincing an edentulous patient with an existing denture is a bit tough job . At the insertion day the patient was really happy to get his new pair were all his concerns were addressed . Hope the pics could give an idea on the same . Thanks in advance .
