Single ring enhancing lesion left periventricular ,adjacent to thalamus with compression of left lateral ventricle,compression of 3rd ventricle with early hydrocephalus,perilesional edema mild midline shift.Duration of illness is1.5 months with fever. TB abcess is possible. Suggest - ATT with steroid . Neurosurgical opinion for early hydrocephalus although at present no indication for drainage.

Ring enhancing lesion in left gangliocapsular region. Diffusion wieghted, MRS images? Chances of abscess is high. Is she having cyanotic heart disease. Neuro navigation guided biopsy can be done. Depending on further reports treatment is to be guided. Also see for chest infection, tuberculosis ,cyanotic heart disease.

What about onset ? And vaccination history ?? Mri s/o ring enhancing lesion at left basal ganglia Most probably infective Evaluate for any other source of infection, cardiac pathology like TOF
