Meckel's diverticulum

There was a case in emergency..fecal peritonitis with abscess (appendicular perforation) with meckel's diverticulum asymptomatic (length approx 5cm..base diameter 2.5cm..) in a 9 yr old male child What is best option for this asymptomatic meckel's diverticulum? @Dr. Tapan Kumar Biswas

Meckel' s diverticulum is found when searched as routine procedure during operation of acute abdomen mainly aloensicectomy. If Mickel's diverticulum found though it is asymptomaric it better to remove the Mickle's diverticulum either by excision or by excision with resection anstomosis to avoid complication later on.
