Cerebral T wave

deep T-waves inversion on ECG in the setting of a cerebral vascular accident are commonly referred to as cerebral T waves.


CVA if due to ICH or MCA occlusion ( large infarct)causes cerebral edema, that will be one reason behind this deep inverted T wave sometimes may be associated with prolonged QT interval. You can see bradycardia if brain stem herniate. Should be evaluated for cardiac cause, Troponin, electrolytes, repeat ECG, echo
