Diagnosis is straight forward..I dont think They are associated with growth spurts.. Or increased muscle mass..You dont see them in body builders do you?If they occur during growth spurts..lots of kids should have them..most commonly seen in conditions of sudden wait gain where pverlying skin strcthes...tearing collagen/connective tissue..collagenrrexis..and thinning of skin and loosing elasticity.. Like physiotherapy rubber bands..loosing recoilability..invariable adversability finding in obesity...commonest.Distended abdominal wall..whatever the causes are., Pregnency..ascities..cushing syndrome etc.
