Hypervitaminosis

Lady aged 30 yrs older, complaining of abdo pain and joints and leg pain since few days, not relieved by painkillers. Loss of appetite, uneasy, abdomen fullness, bp normal temp normal attaching the reports please help in diagnosis and management.

Suggestive of Hypervitaminosis Increased VitB12 Increased TLC Hypervitaminosis is a rare but serious condition that could put you at risk for liver or kidney problems. High levels are rarely due to consuming too much of the vitamin through foods or sun exposure. Adv:- KFT LFT Lipid profile.

Complaints are pain abdomen and joint pains There is leucocytosis TLC is over 19000 Suggest infective origin Though levels of vit d and vit b12 are on higher side but i don't think they are to be labelled as hypervitaminosis but yes overtly treated or ingested Treat infection with antibiotics Suggest for usg abdomen Xray chest
