- Malaria must not neglected for the sake of pregnancy - routine antimalarials can be used

To be true no drugs are safe in pregnancy. However, in the greater interest of health of pregnant women and analysing risk benefit ratio ultimate action is decided. Accordingly the antimalarial is relatively safe in pregnancy unless the same is otherwise contraindicated.
