Dear my friends and fellow Colleagues, Here is an update on Hospitalized COVID 19. About 37% patients hospitalised for COVID-19 develop Acute Kidney Injury (AKI). 15% of these patients require dialysis. AKI was strongly linked to occurrence of Respiratory failure & was associated with poor prognosis. A study of 5449 hospitalised patients in New York. Kidney International, May, 2020. Regards and thanks, Dr Sepuri Krishna Mohan
