A 21-year-old patient presents with a five-day history of a nonpruritic, erythematous rash with concomitant low-grade fever, headache and arthralgias. She has been working as a camp counselor for pasr few months.She does not recall a tick or other insect bite and none of the other camp counselors or campers have developed a similar rash. Ayurvedic examination reveals pitta prakriti, tikshna agni, Mutra daha, mala nirama, sparsha samsheetushna, jihva nirama and aakriti sam.

A male aged 28 years came to me today having these lesions with mild itching and burning during sun light exposure since 2 days . These lesions are more on left chest and right leg. Few small bumps and blisters are also present as a fresh crop. No history of fever and bodyache. This case has created a great confusion to me. Neither fit in Chicken pox nor in Herpes Zoster. Diagnosis and management.
