A 21 YRS M Pt. having this oral lesions. Pt. has no burning, no swallowing difficulty but having burning n pain abdomen. Since 3 months back. given Becomplex, Lycored, prebiotics but no result. pt having no fever. Appetite decreased. Pls suggest Dx and Rx

Usg ..sonograhy ..give prebiotics ..yakult ..do counselling for habit ..and diet..smoker's palat. .

Smoker's palate where the ductal orifices of the palatal minor salivary undergo inflammatory changes showing dilation, swelling and some amount of hyperemia. This can be seen even in individuals consuming very hot food articles. And specifically if seen in individuals having habit of smoking then termed as Stomatitis nicotina palatina. In that case treatment would be Cessation of smoking either with psychological counselling Or Through chemical methods of smoking cessation. For example substitutes for nicotine. Like nicotine gums, patches. As the patient is already on antioxidants and lycopene substitutes no neeed for additional supplements. Although Moreover, if the patient is under habit of smoking that exaplains the gastric discomfort.

Superficial mucoceles on palate. Stop smoking.

Check for gerd Check the palatal side of upper anteriors for erosion Take an opinion of a gastroenterologist. Ask whether he has smoking habit It cud be smokers palate. Advice him to quit habit cause stains are visible on the palatal side. Do oral prophylaxis The lesion will subside on its own
