Stress induced menstrual irregularity

A 25 year old college overweight girl unmarried had secondary amenorrhea for past 3 month and on and off scanty white discharge present. her prior menstrual cycle were normal -with 5 day flow and 30 day cycle length with no abnormal vaginal discharge .there is no abnormal hair growth ,no acne ,no significant history in the past,no history of any drug intake ,her urine pregnancy test is negative .what is the provisional diagnosis and what is the next line of management? Physical Examination Normal ,no significant finding other than overweight and acanthosis nigrans in back of neck region & axilla Investigations USG pelvis- normal , thyroid function test - normal ,lipid profile normal , pcod profile normal , fbs and ppbs and fasting insulin everything in normal range , complete blood count normal with hemoglobin level 12g/dl

It is a case of stress induced menstrual irregularity.this patient changed her lifestyle and reduced weight of around 5kg in two month span and regained her normal menstruation back now .

Looks like pcos, quite common in over weight girls at this age .n it appears as if this menstrual irregularity is for the first time. In order to make a diagnosis u advise her an ultrasound pelvis,Serum FSH ,LH ,Prolactin,testosterone ,dheas,insulin titres also.Thyroid profile . Menses after 3 mths of amenorrhea can be really heavy.

Pcos,is my first diagnosis.however thyroid dysfunction,serum prolactin, should be done.

First do TSH , PROLACTIN AND USG TO RULE OUT PCOS REDUCED WEIGHT
