A 25-year old previously healthy female presented with 7 days history of pruriginous and burning rash on her both feet. Rash started after she was wearing new pair of shoes. First symptom was pruritus then vesicles appeared on the skin, followed by pustules and erosions. There were no other symptoms. My idea is some kind of allergic contact dermatitis. What is your idea for diagnosis and treatment?
ACD Remove irritant or contact causes allergy. Antihistamines orally. Tapering dose of steroid orally and locally. Improve general health and personal hygiene. Keep area clean and covered with sterile gauze.
ICD/ACD pvc footwear straps are the cause for irritation Rx orally tab Azithromycin500mg 1od for 5days Tab Levocetrizine5mg 1bd for 5to7days than 1od Locally Lobate-s oint twice daily Avoid footwears till complete recovery Review after 15days
